Amy Harper, who leads Smith & Williamson’s Business Outsourcing Services (BOS) department in the South Coast, has been appointed as the national cloud accounting lead at the financial and professional services group. This recognises Amy’s expertise and passion in advising and helping businesses to adopt cloud technologies.
Amy commented: “I have been a longstanding advocate of cloud accounting and the way that technology enables businesses to work in a more streamlined and efficient way to access records anytime and anywhere.” She added: “There are so many fantastic software applications on the market that can help businesses manage their operations based upon financial facts rather than hunch. We are seeing consistent improved outcomes for clients who are using cloud based systems for their accounting processes.”
Since joining Smith & Williamson in September 2018, Amy has grown the BOS team from two to eleven. She has also strengthened its relationships with leading software solution providers such as Xero and Sage, as well as many successful cloud integration companies.
Maria Fandrakis, national head of Business Outsourcing Services at Smith & Williamson said: “Amy has been building her expertise in this area since joining us. Her appointment to this role was a natural choice and she will be able to share her expertise across all of our offices giving us extensive national coverage.”
