Sloane Stanley recently announced the signing of global fitness brand, F45 Training, to the King’s Road. Taking a 240 sq. ft. site, the brand will offer a group fitness experience with its 45 minute functional high intensity interval training classes around the ethos ‘not a gym, but a community’.
Founded in Australia, and co-owned by the American actor, producer and businessman Mark Wahlberg, F45 Training merges three leading fitness training styles focused around the core pillars of motivation, innovation and results into one 45 minute functional class, delivering not only team training but also life changing results.
Based at 370 King’s Road, the site will incorporate more luxury finishes ensuring the gym fits within its unique Chelsea setting. Spread over two floors, the ground floor will feature a dedicated reception and co-working space, whilst the lower ground floor will house the 175 sq. ft gym space, and include an Instagrammable wall installation based on the brand logo.
The offering will also include the brand’s famous ‘8 week challenges’, held four times a year to encourage incredible weight loss and fitness results from participants, and includes specially formulated nutrition plans plus a dedicated mobile app to monitor progress.
Commenting on the news, Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley said: “Chelsea has a high demand for health and wellbeing concepts, so we are delighted to welcome F45 Training to the estate. Adapting the fit-out to maximize their appeal to our catchment, F45 training will further amplify and enrich our wellbeing offer. Attracting this international health and fitness brand highlights our commitment to providing a dynamic and appealing mix of fashion, design, leisure and wellbeing, creating the best experience for our residents and visitors whilst reinforcing our relevance as a destination.”
Colin Hutchison & Steve Salvarinov, Owners of F45 Training Chelsea, added: “We are thrilled to be joining the Chelsea community and look forward to unveiling this new F45 Training studio specially tailored to the local community. The new site on the King’s Road places us within the heart of this iconic location, and we look forward to welcoming our new clientele through the doors to not only smash their own fitness goals but also to join a thriving community of individuals powered by personal transformation rather than ego.”
This announcement follows the recent news of two other health-focused operators joining Sloane Stanley Estate. Pioneering psychological wellbeing concept, The Soke, is set to make its bricks and mortar debut at 241 Fulham Road later this year, whilst well-established physio and pilates practitioners, Complete Physio, recently opened their doors for the first time in Chelsea at 321 Fulham Road.
