A trio of warehouse and workshop premises in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire form the latest industrial letting announced by the Huntingdon office of Barker Storey Matthews (now part of Eddisons).
Units 1, 3 and 4 on Bridge Street in the Fenland market town once formed part of the larger site formerly occupied by HB Fuller. These buildings will now be used by a company who specialises in porcelain tiles.
The warehouse units totalling 3,619.96 sq m (38,965 sq ft), plus ancillary yard, are adjacent to Travis Perkins and Aldi on the north side of Chatteris, in the town’s main industrial district bordered by the A142 bypass with onward access to Ely.
Speaking about these latest industrial lettings in the Cambridgeshire town, Matthew Hunt of Barker Storey Matthews’ Huntingdon office said, “These Bridge Street units lend themselves to the new occupier’s line of business.
“They, collectively, offer plenty of on‐site parking and yard facilities as well as the main warehouse and workshop accommodation.
“It is good to have them let to one occupier who, it is our understanding, has leased the units as part of the company’s business expansion plans.”
