Greggs are the latest retailer to sign up to a new unit to be developed by Trebor Developments and Hortons’ Estate Limited at the prestigious Princess Alice Drive, Sutton Coldfield retail site. This announcement follows shortly after the signing of American Golf, announced in July 2012.
Trebor/Hortons are about to appoint a contractor to undertake the site demolition and clearance works, commencing in October, which will see the site cleared ready for the main contractor to commence development in early 2013.
The retail development is due to be completed by Autumn 2013, in order to allow retailers to benefit from the run up to Christmas trading.
Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner for Trebor Developments, commented:
“We are delighted to sign Gregg’s to the Princess Alice Drive retail scheme which will shortly commence on site. We are currently in discussions with other tenants for the remaining units, which are available from 4,000 sq ft to 12,500 sq ft. This development will further enhance the outstanding retail line-up that already exists at Princess Alice Drive Retail Park.”
Raymond Reynolds, Retail Director at Greggs said: “The Princess Alice Drive retail scheme is an excellent location for Greggs and we are confident it will trade well. We look forward to welcoming our customers to the new store when we open in 2013.”
Wright Silverwood represented Greggs Plc in all negotiations. Trebor Developments and Hortons’ Estate Limited were represented by Bartlett Property.
