Staff at Wollen Michelmore’s four offices across South Devon were encouraged to take an extra long coffee break on Friday (September 28th) – in the name of charity fundraising.
The enthusiastic coffee drinkers raised a magnificent £450 in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Wollen Michelmore Managing Partner Chris Hart said: “This is the fifth year we’ve taken part in this event and we are delighted to have raised more money than ever this year. Cancer has touched the lives of most of our staff so as well as being keen to take a coffee break they were also keen to support this cause.”
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraising event. In 2011 around the UK 51,000 people signed up to the coffee morning, raising a record £10 million.
