Construction is well under way of the final phase of Stonehouse Park near Stroud.
Developer Robert Hitchins Ltd is transforming the vacant plot at the entrance to the business park into a new Costa Coffee with drive-thru facility and 32 customer car spaces.
There will also be a separate 42-space car park for world-beating pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier Sartorius whose factory sits opposite.
Senior Development Manager for Robert Hitchins Ltd, Michael Plimmer, said: “This is the last piece of the jigsaw at Stonehouse Park. We are delighted to be developing a scheme that not only brings a top quality brand in Costa Coffee to the business parks for companies and their staff to use but also provides Sartorius with much-needed additional secure car parking to support their future growth plans.”
Head of Operations at Sartorius, Ian Woolf, said the extra parking was essential. “It represents a continued investment in Stonehouse and will help to fulfil our plans for growth. It’s always a pleasure to work with Robert Hitchins,” he said.
Acquisition Manager for Costa Coffee Jill Anderson was pleased to see the new drive-thru coming together. “It’s the result of great teamwork between Costa, Robert Hitchins and Barnwood that we’re able to deliver a great drive-thru in the region,” she said.
The contractors are Barnwood Construction.
