National tile retailer Al-Murad Tiles is to open in Stadium Trade & Business Park in Reading after agreeing a letting with landlord Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund. Al-Murad, which is headquartered in Leeds, specialises in importing and selling ceramic tiles and natural stone from more than 40 stores and 30 family-run franchises throughout the UK.
The retailer has signed a seven-year lease at the park’s 7,312 sq ft Unit 2, paying £7.50 per sq ft. The company has been in business for 25 years, and specialises in importing tiles and stone from countries including Spain, Italy and Turkey. It joins other trade counter operators on the estate including Howden’s, Benchmarx, ScrewFix, Plumb Center, as well as a Halfords Autocentre.
