A renowned independent legal survey has recommended a Coventry law firm in more categories than any other practice in the city.
Band Hatton, based at Station Square in Coventry, has been named as one of the leading and most diverse firms in the West Midlands after it was listed in eight categories by The Legal 500 – a definitive guide to the capabilities of law firms across the UK.
The Legal 500 lists the top law firms in the UK and it was a record performance for Band Hatton, which employs over 30 people, featured in more categories than any other law firm in Coventry. The achievement underlines Band Hatton’s reputation as one of the leading and most reliable legal practices in the region having consistently been named in five or more categories in recent years.
This time around the company made appearances in the corporate and commercial, commercial litigation, debt recovery, charities, family, education and commercial property as well as personal tax, trusts and probate. It is also the only Coventry firm to feature in the charities, personal tax, trusts and probate, education and commercial property sections.
Dawn Mobbs, partner at Band Hatton, was also singled out for praise by The Legal 500 which, when describing the firm’s work in Family field, said: “She is a collaborative lawyer who is particularly experienced in advising on financial relief on the breakdown of a relationship.”
