Browne Jacobson has enhanced its rankings in a number of key practice areas according to the newly released edition of the UK Legal 500.
For the first time the firm was singled out as the ‘pre-eminent’ regional heavyweight law firm in the East Midlands. The firm’s Nottingham office achieved top tier rankings in 23 areas, including a Tier 1 ranking for the firm’s Construction team for the first time.
In the West Midlands the firm enhanced its position in a number of its key sector areas including a first time ranking for its Education team and increased rankings for its EU & Competition Law and IT & Telecoms practice teams.
In London the firm’s commercial property retail team moved up an impressive four tiers from Tier 6 to Tier 2. The Education team improved its rankings to Tier 2 and Head of Education Mark Blois was named as a leading individual in London for the first time. The Local Government team was also ranked for the first time.
