Leading UK business space developer and investor, Arlington has launched its own flexible workspace concept, Adapt by Arlington, at the company’s Uxbridge Business Park.
Commenting on the new venture, James Raven, CEO of Arlington, said: “Adapt is our response to our customers’ growing desire to occupy the sort of high quality headquarters accommodation we’re known for, but with the flexibility and ease of access that is not offered by a traditional lease. We’re privileged to work with some of the UK’s biggest and most successful companies, but as their approach to real estate changes, Arlington needs to be capable of matching those demands alongside a more traditional offer. The approach we are taking is important to us because it means we maintain a direct relationship with our customer however they choose to occupy our space.”
Business rates, utilities, maintenance and cleaning are all included in one simple pricing structure along with super-fast wifi, printing, AV equipped meeting rooms, meeting pods, lockers and use of the community lounge, together with great coffee.
Customers can take desk space in a range of formats from lounge based coworking through to exclusive private offices for 1-14 people, with each desk priced on an all-inclusive basis.
Adapt customers also benefit from The Clubhouse, a stunning new on-site restaurant, meeting and event space and access to the Uxbridge Park Life App, which allows them to make use of a recently completed all weather five-a-side football pitch, netball and basketball court, table tennis area and softball field.
Daniel Pagella, Commercial Director for Arlington added: “We’ve created Adapt to respond to our customer’s needs rather than work with specialist serviced office operators to simply plug a gap. It’s a natural addition to our product offering which has always been centred on creating property solutions for our customers on a bespoke basis.”
“The cost of occupying serviced space is sometimes an unnecessarily complicated business, with many hidden charges for essentials, which makes the true cost opaque at best. It’s a real challenge for finance teams and project leads to accurately forecast their anticipated costs. We’re cutting through all that with a single rate that includes everything- no hidden extras.”
Uxbridge Business Park is minutes from Uxbridge town centre in north west London. It combines the benefits of fast transport links to central London, easy access to the motorway network and close proximity to Heathrow Airport with market leading amenities, all set within 50 acres of landscaped surroundings focussed on customer wellbeing.
The Adapt space opened for business at the beginning of the year, with Xerox as its first customer, taking flexible space alongside it’s new EMEA Headquarters and Innovation Centre. Arlington’s intention is that Adapt will be rolled out across the company’s portfolio.
