EY has celebrated moving to its new office in the heart of Southampton, after signing a three-year licence on Grosvenor House late last year.
Following an extensive refurbishment, which included creating vibrant collaborative work spaces, with floor to ceiling graphics, featuring traditional Southampton scenes, new meeting rooms and amenity areas, EY’s 140-strong workforce in the city have taken occupation of two floors of the prestigious 30,000 sq ft office building.
The move has increased floor capacity by over 20% from EY’s previous office and will support the business’ ambitions to grow the audit and tax service teams across the South coast corridor. In 2019, the team grew by 40 and with more recruitment planned for the next 12 months, the new office offers an ideal new base to support EY’s strategic growth objectives.
The Southampton office forms part of the wider EY Thames Valley and South region, a 700+ strong business, which also includes an office in Reading.
