Sorbon Estates is pleased to announce the appointment of SPACE Retail Property Consultants as sole letting agents on Waterside Quarter, Maidenhead which is the third and final phase of the Chapel Arches regeneration scheme in Maidenhead Town Centre. The first two phases, Chapel Wharf and The Picturehouse are home to Bakedd, an independent artisan bakery, and trendy dining concept, Coppa Club.
Phase 3 will see approximately 17,500 sq ft of new commercial, restaurant and retail space across nine units. Construction is well advanced with the first block (Block C) comprising 6,000 sq ft/ 3 units due to complete in summer 2020. The next phase, Block B, which will front directly on to the Waterway will be available in Autumn 2020 and the final phase (Block A) of another 3 High Street fronting units are due to handover the following year.
The whole Chapel Arches scheme together – Waterside Quarter, The Picturehouse and Chapel Wharf – brings to the town a total of 259 new homes and 30,000 sq ft of commercial space. The arrival of Crossrail, expected to open at Maidenhead train station in 2021, will further improve the town’s connectivity, making it an even more sought-after place to live and work.
