Fast-growing household product online rental company Switch Rentals has leased a warehouse and offices on the Moy Road Industrial Estate in Taffs Well, near Cardiff, to enable it to continue its expansion programme.
The company, which was formed a year ago, rents kitchen appliances, televisions and furniture to householders across South Wales and the South West. It has taken a three year lease on the 2650 sq ft Unit 19 warehouse, and the 1,300 sq ft Unit 16f office suite at Moy Road.
Landlord Rombourne has invested more than £500,000 in the industrial estate in recent years to create a range of modern workshops, offices, industrial units and self-storage accommodation.
Switch Rentals director Lyndon Pezzack said: “We needed a warehouse and offices to enable us to continue growing our online rental service and the Moy Road premises fitted the bill perfectly. They are ideally located for easy access to our customers in the Valleys, Cardiff and along the M4 corridor from Swansea to Bristol.
“Also, all our staff live locally and having a train station just two minutes away is a big attraction for them.
“Landlord Rombourne has been very supportive and refurbished the office accommodation to our requirements. Best of all there is other warehouse accommodation on the industrial estate so as and when we outgrow these premises we can easily add the extra space we will then require.”
