Scottish Power has sold its commercial landholding in Avonmouth, Bristol to Walters Land Ltd, the development and regeneration division of the Walters Group.
The site, situated alongside the River Severn, is approximately 113 acres and will be known as Severnbanks.
Walters Land intends to target low density occupiers and land hungry requirements. Alder King and Avison Young have been retained by Walters Land to market the available opportunities.
Andrew Ridler, head of industrial and logistics agency at Alder King, commented: “The scheme is situated within one of the region’s prime logistics locations and will provide opportunities for a sector which has traditionally found it difficult to secure space.”
Paul Hobbs, industrial agency partner at Avison Young, added: “The site’s infrastructure provides opportunities to create plots from 5-50 acres with opportunities available on short, medium and long term leases.”
