National property firm Sanderson Weatherall is to grow its property services and headcount with the acquisition of AMA Surveyors; a niche practice of Chartered Surveyors based in North London, which specialises in building surveying.
The acquisition sees Andrew Mazin, former owner of AMA Surveyors, join Sanderson Weatherall as head of Building Surveying in London. Andrew brings with him over 35 years of building surveying experience, working on projects up to £5m in both the commercial and residential sectors.
Ian Vivian, head of Sanderson Weatherall London commented, “This is a strategic alliance for Sanderson Weatherall; AMA Surveyors is a well-respected name in its sector and it will undoubtedly add value to our current offering. It complements our existing specialisms and we anticipate the acquisition will generate new and exciting opportunities for our business.”
Andrew Mazin, owner at AMA Surveyors added, “I’m really pleased to be joining Sanderson Weatherall and to be working alongside such a talented team of surveyors. There is no doubt that our existing client base will benefit from the breadth of property services we can now offer.”
The acquisition comes following a period of growth for Sanderson Weatherall in London, including multiple new contracts wins and nine new appointments over the past 12 months. The firm has also recently relocated its London office to a larger space in the City’s Austin Friars area, to accommodate its rapid expansion.
