Arrow Capital Partners, the investor and operator of real estate in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has appointed Oliver Bowditch as Investment Manager, Europe.
Oliver will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing transactions, in addition to investment management, across the UK and Europe on behalf of Arrow’s existing mandates, including its EUR2 billion SIRE vehicle.
Oliver has over ten years’ experience in the Real Estate industry, having spent the last six years at IO Asset Management, where he led the Investment team and was responsible for the origination and execution of acquisitions. Prior to this, he worked at JLL in their Investment Valuation team, providing valuation advice to banks, institutions and property companies across the Office and Industrial sectors.
Backed by AMB Capital, one of Australia’s largest family offices, Arrow Capital Partners was set up in 2015 by Martyn McCarthy, and Kurt Wilkinson, with its expansion in Europe being led by Christian Bearman, Partner, Head of Europe.
Following the launch of its EUR2 billion SIRE vehicle in July this year, Arrow Capital Partners has completed or secured exclusivity on approximately EUR250 million of acquisitions in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland and the UK and currently manages €1.5bn across Asia Pacific and Europe.
Katherine Parker, Head of Investment Management in Europe at Arrow Capital Partners said: “Having worked with Ollie for many years, we are delighted to welcome him to our team as we seek to accelerate the pace of investments in our €2bn SIRE urban logistics vehicle in Europe and to expand our office investment strategy. We are focussed on four key investment themes in 2020 being urban logistics, core logistics, office repositioning and office assets with good cash flow in defensive locations.”
Oliver Bowditch said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Arrow Capital Partners at such an exciting time for the company. The team has made impressive progress in investing in a high-quality portfolio of strategically located assets, and I look forward to helping expand Arrow’s presence as it invests across multiple European markets and sectors.”
