A key member of the Holt Commercial property management team has qualified as a chartered surveyor.
Luke Whittaker joined the company in 2012 and began a BSc in Estate Management at University College of Estate Management (UCEM) via distance learning alongside full-time employment with Holt.
During that time, he started the APC (assessment of professional competence) process which began two years of structured training to be a fully-qualified surveyor.
Luke completed his degree with First Class honours in April 2018 and then, in the past few weeks, he passed the APC to become a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
He said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have qualified and to become a member of the RICS. Many years of hard work have paid off and I would like to thank Holt for the opportunity and support they have given me.
“I have learnt so much from the team here during a very exciting period for the business.”
Nick Holt, director of Holt Commercial, said: “Huge congratulations to Luke. He’s an important member of the team here and we are all very proud of his achievements.
“We manage a range of sites across the Midlands region – from industrial estates through to office developments – and it is an area of the business that we feel we can grow based on the excellent service we deliver and Luke is very much part of that.”
