Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. – a leading US-headquartered developer, publisher and marketer of interactive entertainment for consumers around the globe – will be moving its current European headquarters in Windsor to Blue Coast Capital’s 40,000 sq ft office scheme at 30 Cleveland Street in London’s West End. The move is anticipated to be completed in 2021.
The art deco-style building has undergone comprehensive refurbishing and remodelling works to provide 40,000 sq ft of Grade A office space across six floors. Features of the scheme include roof terraces on the upper floors that provide panoramic views of Fitzrovia.
Blue Cast Capital’s Asset Management Director, John Stacey, comments: “T2 is a an ideal occupier for this building which has great design style, but also provides high quality offices.
“It’s very apt that a building which dates back to the 1930s and was once let to Dennis Publishing – one of the most innovative publishers of the late 20th century – will now be occupied by a business which is so emblematic of contemporary creativity”.
The area around Cleveland Street has become increasingly popular with tech, online and creative businesses. Facebook, Skyscanner and Estée Lauder are among the occupiers who have taken space nearby.
Serhad Koro, Managing Director EMEA/APAC of Take-Two Interactive Software added: “We were drawn to 30 Cleveland Street by the building, its location, connectivity and also the unique environment of Fitzrovia. It has superb places to eat, drink and shop while the location’s transport links are already excellent and will be further enhanced by the arrival of the Elizabeth Line at Tottenham Court Road station”.
JLL and Edward Charles & Partners are the leasing agents for the scheme. Cushman & Wakefield advised Take 2 Games.
The redevelopment of the building was designed by architects, Barr Gazetas.
