Office Principles has doubled its turnover in the last 12 months thanks to the success of expansion plans, which has seen the award-winning design, fit out and workplace consultancy open offices in Manchester and Birmingham, at the same time as it has consolidated its business in the South East.
While the Manchester office has a series of new projects lined up for 2020, the Midlands arm of the business is currently on site across a number of multi-million pound schemes and has expanded its team accordingly.
The company’s head count has also doubled as Office Principles has managed its growth, investing heavily in its supply chain and working closely with sub-contractors to ensure its strong delivery record is maintained.
Joint managing director of Office Principles, Cyril Parsons is delighted with the progress made in the last 12 months: “The move to spread our geographical reach has certainly paid off and we’ve been lucky to have the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented people who have played a key part in our recent successes.
“We have a strong design team and some of the best project managers who take a consultative approach and share our ethos that creating spaces that really make a difference can be achieved if we develop a very real and detailed understanding of our clients’ needs.”
A family-run concern, Office Principles was an early adopter of the concepts surrounding agile working and the team is keen to guide its clients to understand and embrace the changes in working practice that enable this style of working to be so successful.
The company has built a strong and varied commercial portfolio over the years to include blue-chip brands such as Exterion Media, Telegraph Media Group, Visa Europe, GE Capital, Fitness First, Tata Communications, ResMed, Direct Marketing Association, Land Securities, Mothercare, Spencer Ogden, Cooper Parry, Llama Soft, Grand Union Housing, Inspired Gaming and Kuoni.
