Two office buildings at Station Yard in the South Cambridgeshire village of Oakington will see two new business occupiers in situ soon following the letting of the properties by Barker Storey Matthews – now part of Eddisons – who was the sole agent under instruction from the landlord.
The Huntingdon office of the property agent led the letting of the modern office buildings, Tyburn House and Clifford House, at the small business development which is adjacent to the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway and its companion cycle route and five miles from central Cambridge.
Both are modern, detached, single storey office buildings. Clifford House is a newly built office property of 274 sq m (2,950 sq m) property and was offered with an open plan office layout, while Tyburn House, at 192.47 sq m (2,072 sq ft), was offered with a combination of open plan and cellular office accommodation – the layout of its previous tenant.
Station Yard’s location and accessibility by public and private transport – both office buildings were offered to let with extensive on-site parking – were features which attracted the new occupiers, who are yet to be announced, confirmed Stephen Power of Barker Storey Matthews.
He said, “The letting of Clifford House was agreed after a very short period of marketing and, given its location – close to the local access roads to Cambridge and the surrounding villages and the main A14 trunk road – such was the interest in the Station Yard development, that Tyburn House was also soon under offer to another business occupier.”
