There is no denying that coffee is becoming an integral part of life and no lesser part of business culture, with a growing trend of drive-thru coffee shops offering convenience on the go.
Location is key to driving traffic to such schemes and a prime site facing the busy A43 at its junction with the A14 (Junction 8) in Kettering was an obvious for Costa. The company has subsequently agreed to lease a new 1,500 sq ft drive-thru facility for a term of 15 years.
Work on the new development by TansorZiran has just commenced on-site with practical completion scheduled for Spring 2020. This development has been forward funded by a private investor, which was advised by Prop-Search and Berrys acted on behalf of TansorZiran.
Once open and trading, the drive-thru will also provide amenities for occupiers to St Francis Group and the Richardson Family’s funded new 270,000 sq ft industrial warehouse development – Cransley Park – as well as the proposed further development for additional business units and other drive-to retail properties.
Good levels of interest have been reported in the main Cransley Park development and it is anticipated that the first occupier will be moving onto the park very soon.
A further development by TansorZiran at the entrance to Cransley Park will see the development of Cransley Court, offering a range of small to medium sized business units of between 2,500 sq ft and 16,250 sq ft, that will be constructed to an excellent level of specification and will be available on both a virtual freehold and leasehold basis.
