Schroders has announced the appointment of Sarah Cockburn as Head of Schroder Real Estate Capital Partners (SRECaP).
Joining on 6 January 2020, Sarah will have overall responsibility for the management and investment performance of the £4 billion indirect real estate business. She will also become a member of the Indirect Investment Committee and will report to Nick Montgomery, Head of UK Real Estate Investment.
Sarah has 21 years‘ industry experience, having spent the last 12 years at Kames Capital and PGIM, where she was most recently an Executive Director and member of the Global Management Committee. Whilst at Kames, Sarah established the Kames Indirect Property Team, was Head of Unit Linked Property Funds, a member of the Kames Global Sustainability Committee and managed the Aegon UK Property Fund. These roles involved developing strategies and managing capital for both Local Authority and other institutional investors.

“We are delighted to further strengthen our team with Sarah’s appointment. She has a long and proven track record of outperformance with a number of specialist strategies.
