Knight Frank has bolstered its Valuation & Advisory team with two senior appointments.
Max Field joins as a partner in the Shopping Centre Valuation team and Ben Nicholson as a partner to boost the firm’s fund valuation offering.
Joining from CBRE, Max has 14 years’ experience of carrying out portfolio valuations for a range of high profile fund clients, including British Land, Intu, Grosvenor, M&G and Town Centre Securities PLC. He also has significant experience of carrying out one-off valuations, for new lending and refinancing purposes, for many of the major UK and German banks.
Working alongside partners Gavin Spreyer and Graham Spoor, Max will support the further expansion of the firm’s shopping centre valuation capabilities.
Ben brings with him 15 years’ experience in commercial valuation. In his previous role in Savills’ portfolio valuation team, he was Lead Director and Signatory to The North East Scotland Pension Fund, the Shell Pension Fund and the Staffordshire Pension Fund. Ben is also experienced in shopping centre valuation, lending valuation and data centres.
In his new role at Knight Frank, Ben will continue to provide valuation services across mainstream and specialist property sectors, supporting monthly and quarterly valuation mandates across the firm’s extensive institutional client base.
Knight Frank’s Valuation & Advisory team is the second largest contributor to all three of MSCI’s principal UK indices and values for accounts, unit pricing and litigation purposes. The firm also has one of the strongest reputations in the lending arena, having been recently involved in a range of high profile city centre instructions for both UK and German lenders.
