Avison Young has welcomed a new director to its planning, development and regeneration and team, who originally joined the company in Bristol twenty years ago on the GVA graduate programme.
Paul Kallee-Grover started at what was then GVA in Bristol as a graduate in 1999, going on to achieve his RTPI accreditation with the real estate adviser. Following a career path that has seen him gain experience across all aspects of the management of strategic and site-specific development projects, in both the private and public sector, Paul has a passion for the delivery of projects coupled with a wealth of practical experience.
Jo Davis, managing director of planning development and regeneration at Avison Young, originally recruited Paul to the company, and says, “It’s a real pleasure to see Paul return to the team at Avison Young. The time he spent with us as a graduate put him on the path to a successful career as a planner, which has seen him contribute to a host of high profile regeneration and development projects particularly in Liverpool and Sheffield.”
His appointment is part of an investment by Avison Young into its development and regeneration capabilities, and its commitment to invest in services that support clients from the start of the property life cycle and beyond.
Jo continues, “Our development and regeneration advisory capability has always been an area of strength and distinction for our business. We see enormous market opportunity across the UK, and our investment means we can better support our clients across the public and private sectors to deliver sustainable and inclusive growth in our cities and local economies through major urban renewal and change.”
Paul adds: ” I am bringing back to Avison Young a set of skills that I have honed through the delivery of high profile projects in the UK as well as international markets.” Paul has been recognised by the UK Government and specifically the Board of Trade as a leader in fostering relationships with overseas investors and partners that are actively looking to invest into the real estate sector.
Avison Young acquired GVA earlier this year and is the world’s fastest-growing commercial real estate services firm.
