Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has transacted on four high-quality office units in Wiltshire – at Epsom Court, Holloway House, Avon Reach and Kingston Farm – totalling approximately 24,658 sq ft (2,291 sq m).
The first two lettings are at the well-established White Horse Business Park, with ease of access to the A350. UK lender Everyday Loans has taken 4,834 sq ft (449 sq m) at Epsom Court for use as storage as well as offices. Acheson & Acheson, a supplier of premium beauty products, has taken 4,510 sq ft (419 sq m) of open-plan office space at Holloway House which is adjacent to their Park’s main warehousing facility.
The third is a sale of two units totalling approximately 4,980 sq ft (306 sq m) at Avon Reach in Monkton Hill, Chippenham. Located in the town centre, the two units are housed within a three-story, end of terrace building with parking. The premises are undergoing refurbishment and will shortly be presented to the market for reletting on terms to be agreed.
Completing the four transactions is the relocation of Hitachi from Bradford on Avon town centre to Kingston Farm, a brand-new high-quality office space in an edge of town location. The architecturally striking offices offer open plan floor space totalling 10,334 sq ft (960 sq m) with a high onsite parking ratio.
Colin Scragg, Partner, Carter Jonas, said: “Whether a business is seeking a town centre location or the benefits of a business park, the South West has much to offer. Though office supply remains highly constrained in the region, it is encouraging to see high quality stock like this come to market.
“As this cluster of signings demonstrates, demand for workspace in the region is still high despite the broader uncertainty in the office and industrial UK markets. We are proud to have played a role in helping these local businesses find accommodation suited to their needs, and we hope they continue to thrive.”
