Colliers International has announced the appointments of Tom Beaumont and Paul Bugeja as associate directors, based in Manchester and London respectively and Maddi Ellis, as a graduate, in London, to further strengthen its national Licensed and Leisure division.
Tom will be focussing on lease advisory and acquisitions, for town centre food and beverage (F&B) units and leisure schemes. He joins Colliers after a stint in Australia at Cushman and Wakefield and has previously worked in the retail and leisure division at LSH and Rapleys.
Paul joins from Montagu Evans where he was involved in numerous agency instructions across London and the South East for clients including St George / Berkley Homes, AB-InBev, The Arch Company and Network Rail. He will primarily be focussing on leisure and A3/A4 agency instructions, across London and the South East once again, for a variety of clients.
Maddi is also joining the leisure agency team assisting on a number of leasing and tenant representation mandates, with particular concentration on the health & fitness sector.
Ross Kirton, Head of UK Leisure Agency at Colliers International commented: “We have been growing our broader leisure and entertainment property services over the last two years. The appointments of Paul, Tom and Maddi will enable us to develop this platform further, whilst ensuring that we continue to provide clients with market leading advice.”
James Shorthouse, Head of Alternative Markets added: “The disruption in the retail sector is leading more investors to acquire leisure property; and the wider alternatives asset class to diversify their portfolio. We believe the attractiveness of leisure will continue in line with changing consumer trends and these appointments go towards our plan to grow our market share.”
