Primmer Olds B.A.S have secured a new warehouse for clients NP Autoparts Limited within a speculatively built industrial scheme located within Reliant Close, Chandler’s Ford Industrial Estate, Eastleigh.
Online retailer NP Autoparts, who supplies car accessories and parts, has seen continued growth since their incorporation in 2010.
The new self-contained site comprise a 9,382 sq.ft. clear span warehouse space with an eaves height in excess of 9m providing scope for multi-storey mezzanines and racking.
NP Autoparts are now located adjacent another logistics occupier in Paul Davies Freight who moved to a 40,233 sq.ft. warehouse within the estate in 2018. Chandler’s Ford Industrial Estate is a popular location for due to its excellent infrastructure and links to the M27, the M3 and Southampton Airport.
Neil Parker, owner of NP Autoparts & Drive Den commented, ‘Having outgrown our current space, we have been on the search for a larger premises for a while. Reliant Close offers us the perfect base to enter the next phase of our company’s growth. Being a new high quality building has meant it was a smooth and quick transaction, and has given us a great opportunity to fit it out in the best way for the business.’
Patrick Mattison, Primmer Olds B.A.S Director, who acted for NP Autoparts to acquire the unit added, ‘This was a good result for both parties. The Landlord was able to fill vacant space and our client was able to relocate to help unlock growth potential. Expanding within the industrial/warehouse sector remains a little challenging for internet fulfilment occupiers given the limited options with adequate eaves height that are near to major road networks. As evidenced by the Reliant development, there has been new space entering the market but not at the levels required, particularly between 5,000-20,000 sq.ft.
NP Autoparts previous unit located in Claylands Road, Bishops Waltham, is currently being marketed by Primmer Olds B.A.S by way of a new lease.
