Sloane Stanley has announced that leading tile retailers, Mandarin Stone, have signed for a 1,233 sq ft showroom space at 255 Fulham Road, in the heart of Chelsea. The brand is due to open their store in January 2020, marking its second London location after Primrose Hill.
Mandarin Stone’s location of Fulham Road as it’s latest unit will expand the brand’s UK portfolio to 12 showrooms; all of which offer an unparalleled selection of natural stone and porcelain tile designs. Since launching their first showroom in Bath in 2000, the brand has established its status as an industry leader, providing both timeless stone surfaces and the very latest concepts in the field of porcelain man-made tiles, allowing them to remain at the forefront of the UK interior design market. The bespoke Chelsea showroom will display all of their entire collection, ranging from limestone and marble, concrete and marble effect porcelains through more decorative tiles and outdoor surfaces.
Commenting on the news, Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley said: “Mandarin Stone is an exciting addition to Fulham Road, offering high quality, stylish products that will have strong appeal amongst our Chelsea residents and visitors. Neighbored by the recently relocated Green & Stone, and leading interior stores such as Castrads and Benjamin Moore, this design-centric area of the estate benefits from a high footfall of visitors interested in sought-after and innovative design. We are confident that the store will be reflective of the brands creativity and appeal, and therefore will be a great match to our widely recognised and acclaimed destination.”
Alma Small, Founder and Managing Director of Mandarin Stone: “Our opening in Chelsea marks another brilliant milestone for Mandarin Stone within our 30 year history. Having always had aspirations to open in West London, and particularly within the beating heart of luxury design in Chelsea, it’s a real triumph for our brand’s expansion to have sealed this deal. With our full selection of natural stone and fashionable tiles on display, we are pleased to be bringing Mandarin Stone to the design-oriented lives of Chelsea’s residential and international community.”
The store coincides with the planned opening of an additional showroom in Tunbridge Wells in January 2020, which will take Mandarin Stone’s total offering to 13 showrooms later next year.
This signing follows recent news that the luxury occasion-wear brand for children, Quinn Harper, opened their debut store at 331 Kings Road last month.
