A new riverside business centre has launched in Bewdley, Worcestershire aimed at creating a collaborative hub for business professionals looking for flexible offices and meeting space.
It follows the completion of the first phase of refurbishment of Severn House, Riverside North by business owners and investors Jon Duigenan and Juliet Betterton, who acquired the commercial property in April.
Called Bewdley Business Centre, it comprises 3,510 sq ft of business space over two floors.
This includes a variety of individual offices from 100 sq ft self-contained suites from 880-1750 sq ft, temporary or permanent desks, meeting spaces and a 400 sq ft dedicated boardroom and training room.
It has secured its first tenant DMS Logistics Software Ltd, which relocated after 30 years at Bridge House, the office building next door.
DMS has taken temporary space whilst its permanent office is under development. The company will move into purpose designed office space overlooking the River Severn in November.
Now the Bewdley Business Centre owners are offering prospective tenants the chance to take advantage of the next phase of refurbishment works and create the ideal space for their teams.
Jon Duigenan, whose business IT Stress Free Ltd is based at Bewdley Business Centre, said: “Our aim is to create a collaborative, flexible working environment for businesses that is adaptive to the changing way we all work today.
“Our vision is to establish a group of complementary businesses in an environment where we benefit from each other. A place where consultants with common interests can work together and grow by exchanging expertise and ideas. Somewhere that’s more than just office space.
“Now’s the time to express interest as we begin our next phase of refurbishment.”
Juliet Betterton, who runs PR consultancy betterpr, added: “When we purchased Severn House, it was the opportunity to own and create the perfect business space for our respective businesses.
“We have an exclusive riverside location in the town and our vision is for a stimulating and beautiful place to work and enjoy. It offers the best of both worlds.”
Speaking at the opening, the Mayor of Bewdley John Byng said: “This new venture is great news for Bewdley. It’s about bringing other businesses into our town and supporting our many independent retailers, restaurants and cafes. Congratulations to Jon and Juliet on a fantastic project.”
