Asset management consultancy Ashville is undertaking an extensive refurbishment of a 35,000 sq ft warehouse, totalling in excess of £500,000, on a well located and popular south Bristol industrial estate.
The comprehensive refurbishment will include a brand-new roof together with new LED lighting throughout the warehouse. Lancer Scott are the appointed contractor undertaking the works.
The property is located off the A4 (Bath Road) between Bath and Bristol in the established trade location of Bonville Road. It benefits from a fenced yard area with separate parking, fully fitted offices and provision for a trade counter.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Logistics & Industrial team, alongside joint agent Savills, are marketing the unit on behalf of Ashville.
The property will be available to occupy from the start of 2020.
Chris Yates of Cushman & Wakefield’s Logistics & Industrial team in Bristol commented: “The South Bristol industrial market is characterised by an acute lack of good quality industrial stock at present and as a result we anticipate considerable interest in the unit once these extensive refurbishment works are complete.”
Spencer Crowder of Ashville commented: “Ashville are investing this large amount of money as they fully believe in the location being of strategic importance to the south Bristol region; it demonstrates our commitment to the estate and we know this investment will be fully justified.”
Rob Cleeves of Savills added: “It is great to see this investment in bringing an older building up to modern standards and a pleasure to be working with the team in creating a first-class facility. The level of refurbishment is second to none and we are witnessing increased interest in the property as a result.”
