JLL has continued to expand its residential business in Birmingham with the appointment of Joshua Whateley as new homes sales manager.
Joshua brings previous experience as a sales advisor for John Sheppard and Barratts and will work with the team on new homes sales including the recently launched 304 apartment, Axium scheme in Windmill Street, Birmingham, for which JLL is joint agent.
It’s nearly 12 months since JLL launched its new residential business, headed up by Simon Horan who previously worked as development director for Savills and CBRE. Simon was joined by director, William Cox from Pocket Living in January, where he was head of land.
Speaking about Joshua’s appointment, Simon Horan said: “We’ve all hit the deck running since joining JLL, building on the strong reputation the organization has in Manchester and London for its residential business.
“Birmingham offers great potential and a growing demand for new home sales and we’re confident Joshua will rise to the challenge, bringing with him a great work ethic and understanding of the city centre market dynamics and property sales.”
Simon added: “He’s already managed the successful launch of the Axium building being delivered by Top Capital in partnership with Court Collaboration and has the benefit of an onsite sales suite and two show homes.
“We will continue to develop the new homes business and use JLL’s broad property experience from planning to public sector advisory work, dealing directly with both investors and owner occupiers to offer a fully integrated development consultancy service to clients, where required.”
