Hampshire Chamber of Commerce has announced the line-up for its second annual Talking Business conference, taking place at Portsmouth Guildhall in November.
Headline speakers include John Longworth, Director General of British Chambers of Commerce, whose career history includes senior director roles at Asda, Tesco and the British Retail Consortium.
Also speaking is Stephen Gates, CEO of dental healthcare provider Denplan, headquartered in Winchester. It has 6,500 member dentists and helps around 1.8 million patients pay for treatment plans.
Joining them will be Richard Brown, Operations Director of award-winning plastics manufacturer Hi-Technology Group, based in Waterlooville.
As well as the presentations, Talking Business includes exhibitions, networking and an expert panel who will debate topical issues, including how best to secure economic recovery.
Panel members confirmed so far are Marc Long, partner at law firm and event sponsors Clarke Willmott; Ray Wright, Head of Partnership at Portsmouth-based software intelligence company Lead
Forensics; and Jacquie Shaw, Head of Communications and Operations at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
The compere for the day is Cheryl Buggy, Director of local radio station Express FM and a recent Lord Mayor of Portsmouth.

The conference takes place at Portsmouth Guildhall on Thursday 8 November from 9am to 2.30pm.
