Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed sole provider for account management services and preferred provider for other transaction services by Grontmij, Europe’s leading engineering consulting firm.
Grontmij has nearly 11,000 employees in almost 300 offices in Europe, amongst others in UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. The company currently aims to cut its real estate portfolio by 30% by 2015.
Cushman & Wakefield will be providing account management services, as well as supporting Grontmij in its endeavours to meet cost reduction targets and to rationalize its real estate portfolio. The account management team in London will be led by Neil Gorman and Pascale Newcombe.
Neil Gorman commented: “Grontmij and Cushman & Wakefield have together been reviewing ways in which to reduce Grontmij’s current real estate portfolio costs in order to reach challenging targets. I am confident that we will be successful in supporting Grontmij in achieving these goals and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
