Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have agreed pre-let terms for the third of four units being built at the prestigious Edwalton Business Park, West Bridgford, to retirement living specialists Inspired Villages Group.
The deal quickly follows the first pre-let to wealth management firm Browne Shipley leaving only one unit remaining.
The deal was brokered by NG’s managing director Richard Sutton. He said: “Edwalton Business Park continues to attract the highest calibre of tenant who recognise the prestigious nature of the development in terms of its location, specification and build quality.
“We’re delighted to make this second announcement so quickly off the back of the first deal and are discussions with a number of occupiers for the remaining building of 5,500 sq ft.
“The most exciting developments continue to take place away from the city core for the more progressive companies, as congestion, costs and the lack of exciting opportunities are all putting people off a city centre base. Put simply, Edwalton Business Park is simply is the best product in the market at the moment.”
Work at Edwalton Business Park is expected to be completed by April 2020.
Alex Reid at Mather Jamie acted on behalf of Inspired Villages in the acquisition. He said: “The semi-rural location and high quality of the proposed development were both key factors in my client’s decision to take the lease. Moreover, the site is well-located with great access to the east and west via the A52.
“The new offices will help to support Inspired Villages’ ambitious expansion programme, as it looks to recruit around 750 talented individuals over the next five years, quadrupling its current staff base.”
