A growing south coast firm has seen its surveying team go from strength to strength in recent weeks.
Director Ian Lee from leading multi-disciplinary practice McAndrew Martin explained he was doubly delighted over recent changes.
Firstly the business, which is based at the Acorn Business Centre in Portsmouth with offices in London, has celebrated Richard Hookway attaining AssocRICS status.
And the team has just been joined by experienced surveyor Matthew Bennett.
Director Ian Lee said: “We are delighted Richard has qualified as AssocRICS – he is a real asset to the team.
“And Matthew brings with him many years of experience and expertise in the field of surveying and valuation.”
Richard explained working at McAndrew Martin while training for his qualification had been a fulfilling experience.
“I have been involved in a wide field of work during a particularly busy time for the team,” he said.
AssocRICS is a qualification that recognises work-based surveying experience and vocational qualifications. It shows that you are qualified, regulated and trusted, whilst providing a stepping stone to full chartered status (MRICS).
Matthew worked for the last 30 years as a surveyor with Cranes, the last ten of which were in Chichester.
Experienced in all aspects of surveying and valuation, Matthew said he enjoyed working in Chichester but he was looking forward to working again in Portsmouth, where he first qualified in 1982.
“Over the years I have surveyed and valued properties of all descriptions from very modest homes to multi-million pound properties.
“It is great to be joining such a busy practice and at such an exciting time for the business,” said Matthew, who along with Ian Lee is a member of the well respected Portsmouth Property Association.
