Fast-expanding information technology and communications company Air IT has taken additional office space at Hortons’ Estate’s Interchange 25 Business Park in Nottingham.
The business has added a 4,118 sq ft self-contained premises to the 5,540 sq ft it already occupies at the Bostocks Lane site.
The two-storey property, Unit 6, has been refurbished by the landlord and let to Air IT for five years. Air IT will fit out the unit to a high standard, in keeping with its significant investment in its other unit on the site. The tech firm has also extended its existing lease on Unit 7, aptly named ‘The Technology Hub’, demonstrating its commitment to the business park.
Founded by Todd McQuilkin in 2005, Air IT is the largest managed service provider in the East Midlands and ranked in the UK’s top ten. The multi award-winning company is now the second biggest occupier at Interchange 25, after Nurture LLP. Other tenants at the business park include GameTec Leisure Limited, Northgate Public Services, Coleby Associates, Ashley Kate HR and Servest Group Limited.
Jeremy Boothroyd, management surveyor at Hortons, said: “Air IT took its first lease out at Interchange 25 in 2017 and has now taken additional space to accommodate its expanding workforce. The company is a genuine success story and a great asset to Interchange 25.”
James Healey, managing director at Air IT, said: “Acquiring the additional site is a big milestone for us. Giving us much-needed space as we continue to grow, the new site houses our recently launched Business Intelligence team, Air BI, and enables us to serve the cyber security needs of new and existing clients through our specialist division, Air Sec.
“As we continue to deliver high standards and market-leading services to clients, we’ve invested in state-of-the-art facilities to engage our team and attract the best talent.”
Interchange 25 Business Park comprises 50,000 sq ft of office accommodation across eight buildings and 6.5 acres. Just one unit remains at the Park, which is located on Junction 25 of the M1.
