Flooring contractor, English County Contracts Limited has relocated its Bristol headquarters to Eldonwall Trading Estate.
DTZ, a UGL company, agreed the deal on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management.
English County Contracts has taken 4,445 sq ft of industrial/warehouse space at Unit 3 on the estate located in St Philips on a 10 year lease. A larger refurbished mid-terrace unit was split to facilitate the letting.
Phil Cranstone, Senior Surveyor at DTZ in Bristol commented: “The decision to split the unit to meet the requirements of English County Contracts is another example of the flexibility offered by Aberdeen Asset Management at Eldonwall. Despite difficult market conditions, the Estate has remained a popular choice for occupiers seeking well located industrial and trade counter accommodation in the city.”
He added: “Aberdeen Asset Management is undertaking a rolling refurbishment programme, and there are now just three units remaining at the estate.”
DTZ and Russell Property Consultants are jointly marketing the remaining space.
Mike Stephens of English County Contracts, commented: “Following a number of recent new contract wins, we required larger and more suitable premises. Recently refurbished and with good transport links, Unit 3 was the ideal option for our requirements.”
