Aberdeen UK Property Fund, advised jointly by Savills and Richardson’s, has let Unit 49 at Axis Park on Manasty road in Orton Southgate, Peterborough to Maindrain Lincs Ltd.
The drain cleaning and maintenance firm, trading as Metro Rod, has agreed to a new six-year lease for warehouse space totalling 3,250 sq ft (300 sq m).
This follows the launch of eight new recently completed industrial units at the park, which range in size from 3,150 sq ft to 12,600 sq ft (290 – 1,170 sq m) and are available to let at a starting quoting rent of £7.50 per sq ft.
Sam Major, surveyor in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, comments: “Axis Park provides good quality warehouse accommodation in the well-established commercial location of Orton Southgate. With excellent access to Junction 17 of the A1 (M) this is the ideal location for Metro Rod.
