The Derwent Group has secured two new lettings at its North West retail parks.
Mobile phone network O2 has taken a 1,633 sq ft unit on a ten-year lease between Subway and Greggs at Liverpool Shopping Park, while Iceland Food Warehouse has taken two units totalling 12,000 sq ft on a ten-year lease at Walkden Retail Park, located next to Quality Save.
James Maule-Ffinch, senior asset manager for The Derwent Group, said: “These lettings reflect the continued success we’re seeing across our retail portfolio.
“Footfall has been consistently strong at both Liverpool Shopping Park and Walkden Retail Park and the two new additions will help to strengthen the retail tenant line-up and shopping experience even further.”
Petch & Co and CSP Retail acted for the Walkden Retail Park deal. McMullen Wilson and CSP Retail acted for Liverpool Shopping Park.
The Derwent Group is part of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation and operates in the retail, leisure, industrial and commercial sectors. The group’s retail portfolio extends to 1.74m sq ft across nine retail parks in the north of England.
