Two modern industrial units on a site close to Doncaster Sheffield Airport have been sold by a leading property consultancy.
Units 1 and 2 at Delta Court, which sits within the Sky Business Park, were sold by Fisher German to Warehouse REIT in a sale and leaseback deal.
The deal means Warehouse REIT immediately lease the units back to aluminium sign manufacturers Sign Shapes.
The units, which are circa 20,000 sq ft overall, feature two-storey offices, open-plan warehouse spaces, two roller access doors, and extensive space for parking and yard areas.
Ben Flint, senior surveyor at Fisher German’s Doncaster office, said: “There were a number of investors interested in this opportunity, and we’re delighted it has now completed after a short but intense marketing period.
“Delta Court is a very popular site right next to Doncaster Sheffield Airport, and this sale represents an indication of the strength of the industrial investment market in the region.
“The airport, and Doncaster in general, has become a transport and logistics hub, and many investors are looking to capitalise on the improving market by acquiring commercial property in the area.
“The short supply of investment stock has led to an increase in values and demand within the market. This sale is a prime example of that.”
Warehouse REIT was advised by property firm Savills on the deal.
