Sorbon Estates, the commercial arm of Buckinghamshire-based Shanly Group, has agreed a lease renewal with Phase Eight for its 2,044 sq ft unit in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The British womenswear fashion retailer, part of The Foschini Group London, has signed up for a further five years at 7 Market Square. This follows a substantial refurbishment and re-brand of the unit.
Phase Eight has been in Marlow since 2009 and offers an extensive range of day and evening wear. The brand is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary and is a favourite of female celebrities such as Christine Lampard, recently seen standing in for Lorraine Kelly in the ‘Stephanie Floral Dress’.
Tamra Booth, Managing Director at Sorbon Estates, said: “We are really pleased that Phase Eight has demonstrated its commitment and confidence in Marlow with this lease renewal. The Foschini Group is one of the strongest retailing groups around at the moment and it’s not difficult to see why working with them first hand. The group is very clear in its strategy and decisive in its execution, and has done an excellent job with the refurbishment of that store, enhancing an already strong offer. Phase Eight continue to trade very strongly in Marlow and we are thrilled to be able to facilitate its long term future here.”
