A company that has seen its skills at fitting blinds and shutters growing in demand across the UK has moved into a new headquarters in Redditch, helped by John Truslove.
The leading Midlands commercial property agents has sealed a deal for Pegasus Contract Installations to move from Hollywood, near south Birmingham, into a 556 sq ft warehouse unit at 11 Colemeadow Road, on the Moats Moon Industrial Estate.
Pegasus, which has enjoyed six years of non-stop growth, fits blinds, security grills and roller shutters for a string of commercial and industrial customers, and works on premises ranging from student accommodation to Porsche dealerships.
The quality of its work has resulted in contracts from clients around the country, with business partners Dan Biddle and Andy Askew usually out on the road with their six-strong team, while Dan’s wife Lizz Biddle runs the office back in Redditch.
Ben Truslove, joint managing director at John Truslove, said: “Moats Moon is proving a very attractive destination for a wide range of businesses.
“It was very satisfying being able to help the team at Pegasus find the premises they needed for the next stage in their company’s growth.”
He added: “As the property agency with an unrivalled knowledge of the commercial market in this area, we are always in a position to be able to match the right business with the right premises.”
Lizz Biddle of Pegasus said: “We needed new premises that were more convenient and that would enable us to keep growing. Our old premises were getting a bit small, but these are ideal.
“We talked to Ben Truslove at John Truslove and the process couldn’t have been more straightforward. Ben was really helpful, letting us look around premises until we found the right one.
“We started out in 2013 and it’s been non-stop ever since, working five or six days a week right from the start.
“I think we hit the market at the right time for our business and the work is constantly flooding in. As a result we have grown to take on six people and it doesn’t look like we’re slowing down.”
She added: “I think it’s a combination of the quality of our work and our flexibility, always willing to take on work when our clients come back to us. They will sometimes take us on for a month at a time working on particular projects.
John Truslove secured a three-year lease on the unit for Pegasus. Law firm Greenberg Taurig represented the landlord, Powerhouse Spyder.
