Harris Lamb has appointed a property inspector to its Business Rates team to support its expanding client portfolio.
Daniel Siggs, who brings extensive knowledge of the commercial property market and the business rate system has joined the firm. Daniels skills will complement the existing 10-strong Business Rates team providing support to both the Birmingham and Nottingham Offices.
As the department continues to engage with the Check, Challenge, Appeal system on behalf of clients, Daniel will play a vital part in visiting each property to gather evidence and ensure that clients are not being overcharged.
Andrew Hulbert, Director, said: “Our team has secured a number of new contracts from national PLCs, and with heavy workloads courtesy of the Government’s Check Challenge Appeal processes, we have appointed Dan as our ‘man on the ground’ to ensure the smooth running of these contracts and in collating evidence for the claims we are overseeing for our clients.”
Dan added: “Having worked in commercial property for some years, it is a very fitting move for me as I am regularly coming into contact with former clients. There was an existing relationship with the Harris Lamb team as I’ve inspected thousands of properties for them in previous roles over the years, and it’s great to have joined the team.”
