International independent real estate consultants Hollis has recruited 21 graduates across 10 locations in the UK.
The graduates will join the firm throughout 2019 to support the building surveying, measured surveys, engineering and project management teams.
Appointments have been made in Ashford, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Leeds, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, and Nottingham.
The Hollis graduate programme has been very successful since its launch in the 1990s. Many current Partners began their careers as university graduates at the firm.
Partner Karl Stansbie joined the firm in 2014 as a graduate, and was promoted to Partner this year, whilst Equity Partner Christopher Sullivan joined Hollis as a graduate in 1999, and in 2004, set up Hollis’ Birmingham office. He has been with the firm for 20 years. Both are involved in the training and accreditation programs available to graduates at Hollis.
Commenting on this year’s graduate intake, Melanie Olrik, Partner at Hollis, says: “This year saw a record number of applications for our graduate programme. This is not only testament to the quality of our programme but it is encouraging to see more young people interested in forging a career in surveying and building consultancy.
“The Hollis graduate programme is a source of great pride for our business. This is evidenced in the many partners and senior associates that have joined us as graduates and stayed with us to progress their careers. To attract and retain such talent is testament to our investment, education and commitment to promoting from within.”
