Construction at St. Modwen Park Gloucester gathers pace this month, as steel frames take shape for the first 173,000 sq ft being delivered on site.
Scheduled to be complete in December 2019, a total of three new industrial and warehouse units at the new Gloucestershire business park – totalling over 173,000 sq ft – are being delivered by St. Modwen, with their appointed main contractor for the first phase, Winvic Construction.
When completed and fully occupied, it’s expected these three units will accommodate up to 230 jobs, meeting demand for high quality logistics and production space with unrivalled access to the adjacent Junction 12 of the M5.
The development is being built with modern day occupier requirements at the forefront and will incorporate sustainable and green initiatives as part of St. Modwen’s approach to minimise impact on the environment and improve social wellbeing.
Pete Davies, Development Director at St. Modwen, said:
“St. Modwen Park Gloucester is an important strategic site for our national delivery of high quality industrial and logistics space and to meet market demands within the Gloucestershire area. The first three units will offer detached units of 45,000, 56,000 and 73,000 sq ft and discussions are underway with occupiers ready for occupation at the end of 2019. In addition to these first three units we are ready to deliver build-to-suit opportunities of up to 400,000 sq ft for businesses looking to move to this site’s prime location.”
St. Modwen Park Gloucester is a 58-acre development and is one of three St. Modwen sites in Gloucestershire alongside the £22 million Gateway 12 Business Park and £150 million mixed-use scheme at Littlecombe in Dursley.
