Avison Young has acquired additional space at its Ganton Street premises to create a new West End hub for its growing London presence.
Following fit out, the firm will occupy 7,800 sq ft in Ganton Street, Soho, with room to accommodate approximately 90 desks.
Nick Rock, Avison Young’s Principal, Central London Offices: “We have consolidated three West End sites into one to create a collaborative, transactional-focussed hub in the heart of the West End. It’s no doubt a challenging market at the moment, but there are plenty of opportunities out there, and by taking a joined up approach and investing in the integration of our fast-growing teams, we are well positioned to better serve our clients.”
Avison Young’s leasing team negotiated the surrender of its lease at Berkeley Square House and acquired the new space and Ganton Street. The firm’s project management team is commencing the fit-out of the new space to create a workplace for all to enjoy. As well as fixed desks, there will be plenty of hot desking space to encourage regular visits from team members based across the UK.
Avison Young has taken the 2nd floor of 22 Ganton Street, comprising 3,963 sq ft, from landlord Shaftesbury.
