Business growth specialists Inspire are expanding themselves – providing a real-life showcase for clients on how to scale up a business.
The Wiltshire-based organisation, which provides support to fast growing businesses that want to scale up, has welcomed 10 new Associate Directors on board.
The move, which adds significantly to the Inspire team, means the company will be able to offer ambitious entrepreneurs even more business support.
After a recent successful launch into Somerset, demand is increasing for Inspire’s support service and this is expected to rise when the company launches into Devon in October.
“We are delighted to welcome 10 new Associate Directors to the Inspire team,” commented Rob Perks, CEO of Inspire.
“They each bring an impressive wealth of commercial experience with them, having been successful in business themselves, both in corporate careers and in SMEs, enabling them to relate well to our clients who are growing their own businesses.
“Coupled with the education provided by the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses programme, ambitious entrepreneurs can access truly unique and unrivalled expertise in the world of scale up support.
It’s the latest example of how Inspire have changed and grown as a business, having started life as The Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce before being rebranded as Inspire and providing SME support activities.
They then won a contract to run the Swindon and Wiltshire growth hub and in 2016 embarked on a strategy to become the leading organisation in the wider south west for delivery of support to fast growing businesses.
Since then they have partnered with the Goldman Sachs Foundation to promote the fully funded 10,000 Small Business programme and have successfully launched into Bristol and Somerset.
“This significant growth in our team, together with our partnerships with the Somerset and Devon Chambers of Commerce, will drive our strategy as an organisation to be the “go to” resource for fast growing businesses across the South West region.
“By sharing expertise and working closely with our Clients, our ambition is to make a significant contribution to growth in the regional economy.”
The Associate Director launch and induction took place at the company’s headquarters at Heywood House, Westbury.
