Developers planning to create a new £30 million multi-purpose development in Nottingham have revealed the first images of the proposed scheme.
Property company AC Lloyd, based in Warwick, is working with Henry Davidson Developments (HDD) to transform a 20-acre site at Teal Park off the Colwick Loop Road in Netherfield.
The exciting plans have now been submitted to Gedling Borough Council for a pub/restaurant, retail units and children’s nursery along with a 53,000 sq ft trade park for up to 14 units and 141,000 sq ft of employment units across seven premises.
National operator LNT Care Developments has already put forward its proposals to Gedling Borough Council to build a 66-bedroom care home for those with residential and residential dementia care needs.
Mark Edwards, managing director of AC Lloyd Commercial, said this was another step towards the multi-purpose site becoming a reality.
“The images highlight the high-spec of the trade centre and business units which will create employment opportunities for local people,” he said.
“Formally submitting our plans for planning permission is another stage in the process and we are pleased with the response we have had from national-based organisations who are interested in opening units at this site.
“Teal Park has a great location with good access to Nottingham and the wider East Midlands and there is a demand for smaller employment units for SMEs and entrepreneurs which these premises will deliver.”
Scott Davidson, managing director of Nottingham and Birmingham based HDD, said: “Now that the site has been purchased, and planning submitted, the next real focus is on delivering the enabling and infrastructure works on site.
“Discussions are currently underway with selected contractors in order to make a start during late summer 2019. This will mark the next exciting chapter on Teal Park, and it will be fantastic to finally see the scheme coming out the ground.”
