The first phase of the Bluestone Centre near Amesbury is now fully occupied following the letting of the final unit.
The centre, which sits just outside the town on the giant 160-acre Solstice Park, is the first new-build business centre development there for more than a decade.
Unit 3 has been let to Solstice Leisure Ltd as a Hot Tub Showroom, in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Quoting rent for the 1,485 sq ft (137.96 sq m) warehouse/industrial unit was £8,750 and Solstice Leisure has agreed a six-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Surveyor Gary Mead said: “This exciting new development of units suitable for office, light industrial and warehouse use is proving exceptionally successful.
“The letting of Unit 3, marks the completion of Phase 1, The Bluestone Centre with all units now occupied.
“The high-specification centre has units ranging from 1,485 sq ft to 2,270 sq ft and aimed especially at smaller businesses and many were sold off-plan.
“This demonstrates both a growing confidence in the region’s commercial property market and an acute shortage of capacity in an area where demand outstrips supply.
“Bluestone is particularly significant for employment prospects in Wiltshire with 131,630 people of employment age living within a 30 minute drive.”
Solstice Park, Amesbury, just nine miles north of Salisbury, has good links to the motorway network via the A303/M3 to London and to the north via the A34 to the M4 and M40.
The Bluestone Centre – named after ancient stones at nearby Stonehenge – is on Sun Rise Way, which forms part of the 160-acre mixed use park.
