South East Wales’ largest independent accountancy firm is celebrating a successful 12 months, despite industry disruption caused by political uncertainty.
Accountancy and tax expert Kilsby Williams has reported 12 percent growth for their previous financial year, which has enabled them to employ five additional team members in their Newport office.
Simon Tee, Managing Partner at Kilsby Williams, said: “With the political upheaval and looming cloud of Brexit, this is an uncertain time for many businesses, but we remain confident in our client offering and our ability to continue to thrive in the face of these new challenges.
“We have consolidated our position over the last few years and now we are actively looking ahead to the next five years and what the business needs to continue this positive trajectory.”
As well as the five new staff, a lucrative year and a number of key contract wins means that Kilsby is continuing to recruit and is actively looking for senior tax managers and potential new partners for the firm.
Simon said: “Our success has been achieved through the hard work of our top-quality team and subsequently, we are planning to expand our pool of talented accountants to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. Staff well-being and a positive working environment is at the heart of everything we do and this has proven very attractive to potential new staff who are ambitious in their career plans but also want to find a good work-life balance.
“We’re looking forward to discovering a number of high-level new staff who share our ethos and can help build Kilsby Williams’ ongoing success.”
